WHAT IS THE CANADA START-UP VISA PROGRAM?
The Canada Start-up Program is for immigrant entrepreneurs who want to start an innovative business in Canada. It supports innovation, aims to create jobs, and prioritizes ventures with global competitiveness. Entrepreneurs who receive a Letter of Support can apply for permanent residency (PR) as shareholders.
You can participate in the program in two ways:

By applying with your own innovative business idea,

By becoming a partner with at least 10% in a promising startup in Canada.

Incubator and Investor Matching
Sen International will incorporate your project according to Canadian startup criteria and prepare your application. We will manage the entire process end-to-end, including incubator selection, partnership structure, and investor/partner matching.

Start-up Program Application Prerequisites

Language proficiency: At least CLB 5 (e.g., the relevant equivalent in IELTS).

Financial sufficiency: Sufficient cash/liquid assets to support participation in the start-up process.

Suitable profile: Resume and experience relevant to the project.

Permanent Residency (PR): Rights and Obligations

With PR (Permanent Residency) , you can live, work, or study in Canada; you will enjoy many of the social benefits received by citizens (such as employment and health coverage with SIN; details may vary depending on provincial/territorial regulations).

There is no right to vote or stand for election; to vote in federal elections , one must be a Canadian citizen.

To maintain PR status, you must have been in Canada for a total of at least 730 days within the last 5 years (this does not have to be continuous; some time spent abroad may count).

To apply for citizenship, you must have physically resided in Canada for at least 1,095 days within the last 5 years (other conditions will be assessed separately).
